You'd almost think this is some crazy conspiracy theory

Cyber criminals are planting chips in electric irons and kettles to launch spam attacks, reports in Russia suggest.

State-owned channel Rossiya 24 even showed footage of a technician opening up an iron included in a batch of Chinese imports to find a "spy chip" with what he called "a little microphone". Its correspondent said the hidden devices were mostly being used to spread viruses, by connecting to any computer within a 200m (656ft) radius which were using unprotected Wi-Fi networks. Other products found to have rogue components reportedly included mobile phones and car dashboard cameras.

The report quoted one customs brokerage professional as saying the hidden chips had been used to infiltrate company networks, sending out spam without administrators' knowledge. News agency Rosbalt reports that while the latest delivery of appliances was rejected by officials, more than 30 devices had already been sent to retailers in St Petersburg.

And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2013/11/01/what-will-it-take-to-fix-chinas-pollution-problem/?iid=HP_River

The story itself isn't much WTF (well, it's not WTF if you're aware of China's massive pollution issues like whole areas blanketed by black smog and rivers filled with trash and dead fish), but this one dipshit...  people actually take advice from this fucktard?

Not everyone sees it that way. "You don't need to fix it everywhere," says Ian Bremmer, who runs the global political-risk consulting firm Eurasia Group from New York. "What they really need to do, at least in the near term, is to address the problem in the most important cities, where people are coming in from out of the country and where there is a lot of media." To Bremmer, the air-pollution problem is a PR screw-up more than a national crisis. He argues that the quality of life is so low in much of China that what seems unacceptable to expatriates and visiting journalists simply isn't top-of-mind to the average Chinese citizen. "The comment that people wouldn't take their kids out in this pollution is overblown because they can't afford to take their kids out anyway," he says.

11-year-old wears KKK costume for Halloween, and his mom creepily defends his decision.

The mom "warned" the kid, saying "I did tell him that if you do it, you know there's going to be people talking about you, there's going to be people saying bad things about you when you do wear it". When I read that, it sounds like she wasn't trying to talk him out of it, but rather to strengthen his resolve. Also, I guess her brother did the same thing twice, when they were kids.

A professional athlete on the "leadership council" is a very goodbad leader

So it turns out the Incognito story goes deeper and much worse than anyone originally thought.  I'm not posting everything, but there's a lot of news out there if you look for it, from other players defending Incognito and calling Martin a "sissy" for bringing it out of the locker room, to Incognito forcing other people to leave the team in his college days, with his father defending the bullying saying "he was made fun of for his weight as a kid, that makes it all right!"  Thankfully, most people recognize that he's a horrible person and needs to not play in the league anymore.

It gets worse.  They're now saying the coaches put Incognito up to it.  And various officials are calling Martin a coward.

That dude can't explain why London acted after their killing fogs.  Or L.A. with it's smog.  There was no dreaded lame-stream media around back then.  The local people didn't like breathing something worse than Coal Dust.  They still don't.  What's wrong with those people, right mister Bremmer.

 :violin curtains @shole.

I saw a sorority girl today ...
(oh noes, not another aDMg saw a sorority girl story)
... she was anorexic bad thin.
She was wearing Daisy Dukes cut all the way up to the crotch.
Except her legs were so sticksmall it was functioning
like a prawn-micromini meets a 1800s hoop dress ?!
And it's 40o out.
You go girl, that's the way to get a frat boy.
:banghead (and yeah she needs counseling)

I'd trick the 60-something cab drivers, and ask them
how annoying the weekend was.  They'd talk.
Then I'd ask them, when was the last time you found
one of those "women" to be attractive.
60 something goes full deer-in-headlights look.
Oh snap.  I haven't found a barely dressed hoochie
attractive in years.  What did you just do to me?!
 :D

Like the link says, whatever policy discussions you can make of this are moot.  The picture is too ridiculous.

Cartman had that happen but it involved Aliens.  This is supposed to be not real life.
