You know what?  If the reprint includes the sentence about PrCs not counting toward multiclassing penalties, I think it'll be worth picking up.  If they forget it AGAIN, then fuck 'em!

DMG, page 176, last sentence of first paragraph under the heading "Prestige Classes": "Taking a prestige class does not incur the experience point penalties normally associated with multiclassing."
