I already mentioned the Puss in Boots inspiration, which led you to point out Trickster, but Leadership is turning me off a bit mostly due to the followers, unless you mean "must take a cohort" to only mean the cohort applies and not the followers. I planned on ignoring any followers gained anyway though because it probably wouldn't work in this setting. For someone like me who has never had a cohort much less a potential army of followers, it's a bit daunting.
There will be some synergy with this campaign that wouldn't be in the normal game though. For instance, feinting as a swift action is possible and swashbucklers get some sneak attack, so being able to Take 10 on bluff has some extra use. As mentioned earlier I'll go through the abilities once I get a bit more time to ponder that instead of schoolwork. heh
