How's that wording for Blistering Tempo?

Now complete immunity is easier to pass than resistances when you deal less damage than the resistance.

If you deal 10 damage to a creature with fire resistance 20, you need a check result (after penalties) of more than 10 to deal any damage, whereas complete immunity (same penalties) would deal damage starting above 0.

I never understood why the stance progressions of Crusader/Warblade usually take place the level before new stances became available (like the 4th level one in Warblade's case whose progression you are using). You practically are required to dip two levels in another class just to get things to work out right.

How about getting stances at 1/5/10/15/20? You get 1st and 3rd level stances on time, 5th level stance is only a level late, the choice of a 7th or 8th at level 15 (the only 6th level stance is just the Desert Wind one that adds 1d6 fire damage on attacks, that I don't think anyone would take anyhow) and an extra one of any maneuver level at level 20 for the dedicated. And it looks all orderly too.

I kinda like the current progression. It gives tradeoffs and benefits for multiclassing, thus making multiclassing more interesting, one of ToB's strengths.

OK, that's not what I meant at all.  I see how that happened, though.  How's the newest version?

What do we think of a variant Song of the White Raven for this class?  Which discipline works best?  Maybe Dancing Goddess...

I'd say Dancing Goddess or Dancing Fox, seeing the effects of both schools.
"-Lady-Captain, we detect 20 hostile vessels against us,  and Erasmus Haarlock's Spear of Destiny ! What are your orders ?
-RAMMING SPEED !

final result : 6 slaughts vessels, 4 imperial frigates, 2 imperial cruisers destroyed. Haarlock sent into the warp. 0 losses. Flawless Victory.

Current version looks good. I'd change it from applying a 10 + resistance penalty to comparing your result to 10 + resistance, though. I'm not 100% sold on immunity being the equivalent of resist 20. Personally, I'd value it as either 30 (max resistance granted by Resist Energy) or 50 (max resistance that I know of short of immunity in a printed monster).

Edit: The things I thought might have had resistance 50 didn't. Not sure what I was thinking of, then.

Comparing is just a DC with a coat of paint; having it be a penalty makes the explanation significantly cleaner (I tried both ways, this was easier).  I'll alter the numerage, though.

I'm actually going to tie it to wardance, not a discipline.  Makes much more sense.

Yeah. They're thigh-high boots being kept in place by being strapped to a garter. Seen a woman dressed like that (minus the shoulder armor and weapons) IRL. :)
Same hair color too.

Wait, Kathryn?!?
Nah, no way.... Maybe.

"Thread Necro" (sung to the tune of Goldfinger)

SirP, you may want to update the link for Dancing Fox.

Yes. I'm using Chromium (Chrome) in Ubuntu. So it's probably related to that.

What's the problem with it?  What's your screen resolution?

The only problem with the columnar tables is that they resize independently; if the table is too wide, some of the columns get larger and some don't.
