Thanks, guys. Feels good to be home.

Also: Sent in an application for a job as a phone salesman, one and a half hours later they call me about an interview. It's probably one of the last jobs I'd ever want, but it'll pay the bills, so I'm happy.
I'm what's staring back from the abyss.
How come you guys never wave?

Please send me a PM if you give me kudos. I'm interested in what I'm doing right.

So, after a discussion with my wife, it seems very likely that I have dyspraxia, which means that I'm not just a forgetful, clumsy, oblivious ass like I've believed for a long time.

So, today I'm feeling really good about myself.

My usual sum of potential clients is in the neighborhood of 14-16, usually totalling around 2-4 million royals.

Today, I got 9... and they total about 7.8 million.

So I'm going to be making a webseries! I'm currently running a kickstarter, and at only 3 days in I'm already at nearly 25% funded for the base goal! (I've got stretch goals in place for up to 5x the base funding, but even just hitting the base mark would be great.)

A good chunk of those were friends, to start, but now I'm starting to get hits from random contributors and it feels AWESOME. People really believe in my idea.  :love

(it helps that I've been dumping a few bucks here and there, I think, in project wonderful ads, especially targeting GitP's forums. I know I've gotten traffic from it, though I can't say if any contributions have been from there.)

A couple of days, my five-year-old said she wanted Taco Bell for dinner, so we got it yesterday. This morning, we were discussing what to do for dinner tonight, and my two-year-old chimes in: "Taco Bell!"

Yay! I'm rubbing off on her.

yay for dates!

And jealous ex? He becomes a real problem you can (provided he hasn't traumatized her) tell *her* about him. I used to get pissed when my exes muddled in my currents. If he has traumatized her.. well gloves are off and have fun!

It seems he has (I told her about it to avoid any nasty surprises for her).

I did, however, the gentlemanly thing and talked him down until he was like "OK, just don't hurt her".

Which I have no intention of doing anyway, so it should be good - and if he does insist, I'll just have him date my twins, Logic and Reason.

They're a bit rough.

Taco Bell used to have delicious Frito Burritos.  I don't know if they still do though.
