How old are you? I was immune to them until about 2 or 3 years ago, then i started having them. I'm now 24.

My father doesn't seem to get them either, so I might just be lucky. XD

You can lessen the effects by drinking water and eating pasta before hand.

Also, avoid sugars, mixing different liquors, and wines heavy in sulfites.  Sulfite free white wine is best.

Cannot say the 'avoid sugars enough'.  Especially candy.

I think I once drunk about one and a half bottles of coke and two thirds of a bottle of rum in a night. I... can't actually remember how much it was exactly, all I DO know is that I was out of coke at the end. So sugar apparently didn't do it... XD

... and neither did mixing stuff. Uh... tequila, some Italian liquor, vodka, rum, wine, cider, some sort of beer (those last three all at once, and quite a bit of the second) in one night. Advice seems to be wasted on me. :/

I still remember the Halloween parties one of my friends threw where they were soaking twizzlers and jelly beans in 150 proof vodka and gin.  A couple of girls were powering through them despite all advice to the contrary and it being their first experience with alcohol.   It was ... not a good experience for them.

Neither did that time with the rum and coke, but more because it basically ruined my sleep schedule up until... probably last week. :lmao

It's snowing like it's New England in IN, and classes were canceled tomorrow!  I get an extra day to attempt to get myself in order!

I AM SO EXCITED I CAN BARELY HOLD MY OWN EXCITEMENT OVER THIS!

I am currently in Law school, as some of you may know, but i'm nearing the end, and i'm working on my very first ACTUAL process! And it's the most exciting part of a criminal process: The moment when you do your final allegations. It's the very last part of the criminal process before you can appeal, and it's the moment where EVERYTHING GOES. After this, the judge has to make his judgement, and then either the defense or the accusation can appeal.

Nevermind that the guy is probably guilty of robbery, and in fact has already been convicted of robbery before, i TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY UTTER SMASHED the testimony of the victims, and i don't know if i should be so pleased about this but i AM.

I thought i would feel bad about defending someone that's probably guilty, but now all i can feel is the intellectual accomplishment that comes with the fact that i will possibly create enough REASONABLE DOUBT even if it was a thought LOST CASE!

Everyone that's read my piece of testimony-smashing says i am being VERY convincing, and that i'm discrediting the witnesses well enough that the process might well close with an absolution! Or, at least, open up the possibility of an appeal later on the road.

So yeah, that's me being happy while playing Devil's Advocate. Hooray for me and my now ever growing evil karma as a to-be lawyer!

Brujon, don't worry about it. Feeling good about being good at your job and hating your job aren't mutually exclusive feelings.  :D

What makes you say that? The cynical part of the character, or what else? *note to self, rewatch Mushishi because it's so awesome.*

Sigh, if only i could convince my fianceƩ to drop her prejudice and actually watch some quality anime with me.
