the mormon temple rituals have never been secret. they consider them sacred. much like the mason temple rituals, or the hebrew temple rituals (from which both mormon and mason rituals originate). there are a number of actually secret societies about which have rituals and oaths which are much more worrisome - encouraging rape, murder, and theft; promising to protect any member from the law or from being brought to justice, as well as having specific goals of overthrowing governments. the only "mormons" worth worrying about are rouge mormon individuals or splinter groups that no longer hold themselves to christian restraints, and by virtue of such, can't really be called mormon or christian anymore.
besides, this information has been around the internet since the bbs era, if not before. it's hardly new information.
