Erm, I think the map got mixed up a good deal.

I have reach, so I'm flanking the spider from 10ft away.

Oh, and you probably shouldn't update with my position before it's my turn. But I'll be shifting around to whatever flanking position I can get.

And if we got +4 more on our to hit rolls, mine was 20 instead.

My understanding was that was how you moved last turn.  I mentioned previously that I have updated the map that I had previously made a mistake on.  I haven't changed anything on it except Kalal and Mandoor for this round.

I have 10ft reach, standing next to the spider would be silly.

I'm pretty certain that my last turn I moved to B9 so I stood behind Kalal. But you updated me to B6, so I went with it and moved to C5.
Here's the posts:

Second where I'm updated to B7, go with it and move to C5:

So you want to shift to B8 in this turn?

Also, sorry about not messaging more quickly, I've been really busy with work these last couple of weeks, some of which should start to clear up after this weekend.

Yeah, to keep the flanking bonus etc.

Vilenatas,

Did our AoO attacks bring the Spider down or should we take our next turn?
If the Spider is still alive, can we tell if our attacks are hurting it?  Can we tell it has DR?

I came up with 338.

Brone,

I believe, Tork is the only magical healer of this party and he can only heal the party upto 1/2 max hp with his Dragonic Aura that the sad side :(  but the good side Tork can do that all day long. :)

I'm finding that I'm just losing interest in Play By Posts as a whole. I gave them a second go and it's just...meh I guess. I'm just not really having that much fun with Play By Posts lately and updating them really feels a bit like homework. Just having trouble getting into the characters and getting the passion for playing the characters.

But at the same time I don't want leave if it'll hurt the Campaign. I'm just finding that I'm not really that motivated or "into it" as I used to be. Check up on the Play by Posts just feels like an assignment rather than something fun that I can't wait to do. I think it's just the slowness of Play By Posts I guess.

I'm not really sure what to do, I'm not really having fun(more just lost interest than anything else) with play-by-posts anymore, but I don't want to hurt the campaign by leaving either. I've been thinking on this for the last couple days.

I don't want to-not say anything and have my posts suffer as a result of the loss of interest and negatively affect the campaign.

I've tried Play By Posts twice now(given them two seperate goes, joining a couple each time) and it just seems like for me, D&D is best done IRL around a table.

I'm willing to stick around of course if needed. I hate to do this but I've just lost interest in Play By Posts.

But really I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to quit if it'll hurt the campaign but at the sametime I've just lost interest.  :(

Yeah, I catch myself finding new games and getting excited about them until I look at most the games I am in or have been in the past year or so.  Upon looking my excitement at the possibilities dies pretty hard due to the tragic trajectory of pretty much all the games I've participated.

Kinda makes me miss playing NWN online.

Table-top is certainly better, but I just don't have time for that anymore. Do what you feel like. I only do this because I'm still enjoying it.

I've really enjoyed my PBP games so far for as long as they've lasted.  The lasting has been the difficulty.

PBP is slow, and sometimes you just need to step back and give yourself a while. Don't let it become a chore, or you'll disappear altogether. Your charrie can always be NPCed until you come back.

Not sure if I'll be back though, PBP just doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. I'll still be lurking the forums of course.

My point is that your character can do more than just fall through a plot hole, and in the vent that you did decide to return, it shouldn't be too difficult. I'll be watching for you elsewhere though! :P

NPC my character out or someone else can take him as a second character if they wish. Either way is cool with me. Good luck!
