He goes over to Brone and looks to Beorn with an academical look.

Both Beorn and Mialgru recognize the wound for what it is, the taint evident in the fact that the wound has already begun to fester.

Tork takes a look at the wounds.

With Mikkel (high nature check and healing check) and Torks healing check can we see if "the wound has already begun to fester" is from a disease?  Do we know how to get it removed?  Is there a church in town or a potion shop that we can a "Remove Disease" magic?  With our nature and healing checks can we determine what the next stage of disease will do?  We might just have to move on and take care of it later when we get back to town.

Brone cheerily asserts, "You two look as though it's for the worst. I am a mercenary, you can tell me if it's something vile. Though I didn't anticipate this would be the love bite that I got an infection from." He smirks.

Unfortunately it is. Beorn shooks his head We probably won't be able to heal it until we reach a temple of some sort.

Standing a short distance away and listening while keeping watch Jax looks over his shoulder to Brone and his healers, "What is going on with the wound?  Does the taint look bad enough that we need to take his limb?"

After a long look at the wounds you determine that it is not from a disease, and will not spread, but that even with the best of efforts the wound will never fully heal without the aid of a place of true goodness.

[Flay Crimsonwind]

"Well, I wont be much use as a sword then, but luckily I still have my bow. I'll wait; and if I do die, it's just bigger paychecks, yes? HA!"

"Bigger checks... Well, you seem to find the bright side of things don't you Brone?"
