If it looks like a frog, that doesn't necessarily make it a frog. Beorn points out to Kalal. I'd have gone for the more tactical approach, but we've faced a lot worse and it might be wiser to save our spellcasting resources for later. Just be careful.

As Kalal makes his bold statement and heads for the frogs Jax gives himself a small shrug, readies his bow, and moves to follow and/or flank for better shooting position keeping about 20 feet from the dwarf of stone.

Bobbynock too readies his ranged weapon, unslinging his light crossbow and loading a bolt. He takes up a position near Jax.

Brone sees the approach from his team, smiles at their very forward approach, and takes out his shortbow, trying to place himself to the side of the group.

Kalal is in front, Tork closest and to the left, Beorn behind them in the middle, Jax to the far left with Bobbyknockle to his right, Brone to the far right, Mizar is the farthest back and Mialgru is the Ibis.

Roll Initiative.

Kalal seems as oblivious as the statue he appears to be.

Everybody remember you get a +1 to your initiative from Tork's aura not the frogs :)

It looks like I go first unless the frogs go before a 28.  I rolled high. :)
I will hold my turn until the frogs come out of the water.

After Tork holds action, a huge frog head rises out of the water its tongue shooting out at Kalal as he approaches.  The tongue lashes out and wraps around Kalal beginning to drag him into the watery confines ahead.

Tork if you want to act now that a frog has popped out of the water you can.

Yes, Tork will strike the frog that came out of the water.

1st: Tork uses his free action to change his Aura to a Vigor Aura.  If you drop below 1/2 your total hp you get fast healing to heal to 1/2 your total hp.  It is not regeneration but fast healing that only heals when you do nothing that round that is how I think it works.

2nd: Tork moves up to attack the frog that is out of the water.

3rd: Shadow Blade Technique (Shadow) to strike the frog.
Strike: This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d20+1 : 7 + 1, total 82nd Shadow Strike: This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d20+1 : 7 + 1, total 8  damage: This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d4+4 : 4 + 4, total 8 + This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d6 : 5, total 5 cold damage if both strikes hits.  I will choose the highest d20 roll strike as the one that did my damage.
It looked all good until I started rolling. :(

Tork moves up bravely to stand next to an enormous frog that completely towers over him.  The frogs tongue is wrapped around Kalal, but even with that detriment in manages to nimbly sidestep the attacks from Tork.

Seeing another target the smaller frog at the back moves up and lashes out with its tongue.

Jax, seeing the danger to the Construct and Gnome rushes towards them drawing his bow releasing a shot.  The smaller frog being just outside his optimal range he releases his shot up the large frog drawing Kalal towards the putrid moat.
