Hudson looks around but sees nothing. However he hears the screeching of the Infected. Like a hive mind, they seem to be zeroing in on them. He thinks they have mere seconds before another threat arrives. Hurriedly he opens the door to the back of the van, unlocked thank God. Peering in he quickly scans the interior.
A dead swat officer is lying in the back with several tourniquets to keep him from bleeding out. Apparently they hadn't done the job. Neither did his body armor, which is ruined by several bullet holes. This must have been when the raider's attacked. Had the man been alive until then? Unconscious but waiting for help that never came? The thought hurt Hudson's head.
Hudson reaches out and takes the gun that the man was holding. Then his eyes light up. This couldn't be... taking the two clips in the man's belt, Hudson glances around for any other treasure, but sees none. Oh well, this was a rare enough find.
The screeches are now closer. The whole party can hear them now. The enemies must be just around the corner, sprinting towards what they thought was food knowing the sick, infected monsters.
Brock nods to the party.
"Good luck guys". He then enters the police station.
Reagan looks at them all over his glasses. His eyes seem sad as he begins closing the double doors and putting the barricades back up.
"Stop dawdling, we must leave", Viona barks as the doors close behind them.
Hudson-The Colt Model 635 is essentially an M16 assault rifle that has been rebuilt to fire 9mm Parabellum pistol ammunition. It is identical in appearance to a compact M16 carbine, except for the magazine. The Model 635 uses standard Uzi submachine gun magazines, which are considerably longer and narrower than rifle magazines. They are inserted into the full-sized M16 magazine as well. Controls and operation of the Model 635 is the same as the M16. This simplifies the retraining of personnel already equipped with M16s. Internally, the action has been modified to fire as a closed-bolt blowback design. The bolt locks open when the last round has been fired, facilitating rapid magazine changes. The straight-through M16 pattern of the stock helps to control recoil, making the Model 635 a remarkably accurate submachine gun, even in automatic mode. The Model 635 features the shortened barrel pattern and folding stock of the M16 Commando variants. This makes it significantly shorter than the full-sized rifle, which suits its submachine gun role. The Model 635 is considerably more expensive and complex than most submachine guns; however, it is highly accurate and reliable and is particularly well suited to the needs of special operations units.
