Not with the equipment houserules. Engancent bonuses are gained automatically with enchantments. So instead of costing what a +2 item would, it's only valued at what a +1 would.

Wouldn't it be then an "Empowering Lamen" rather than an "+1 Empowering Lamen"?

Edit: Sorry, I read the rules fast and misread them. That is nice! I have to change the equipment of all my characters now. :)

I'm about half way through my sheet. Can be finished in short order if needed, though.

Anyone with money to spare should consider Ritual Incenses and Candles.

The Incenses are usable by anyone with int 3+ and the Candles are usable by anything physically cappable of lighting them, including mindless minions of any variety.

You can purchase them at 50% list price courtesy of my character. I've got a craft reserve that I'm not going to be able to use up on my own to cover the XP cost.

Also remember that I'm covering all mundane and alchemical crafting so pretty much everything non magical can be bought at 1/3 list price.

I apologise, but I will have to bow out.  Time is a little to tight to make Myra at the moment, though I will complete the character and try to join the game again later...  have fun!

So we are left with four. Do we continue or search for a fifth?

We can try, I had an unexpected 'vacation' so once I get back I'll buy some more gear and be 100% done, instead of 95% :P

I've still got a little ways to go but I'm working on being finished by the time SirP has the time to get us started.

Specifically, I've got a Thrall and a Cohort that need statting.

I had a nice cuddly Blood Ape as my thrall but Oslecamo went and changed the thrall rules from HD of my HD to CR of my HD - 2 and deep sixed that plan.

Current plan is a Polar Bear unless anyone has a better idea. Has to be CR4 or less, and Int 2 or less. Gets a free level of Pseudonatural Creature.

For the Cohort I'm probably using Garryl's Divine Mind/Marshal fix. I can attract a lv4 cohort, then use my vile transformation ability to give it a level of Kaorti, effectively granting me a lv5 cohort.

Kaorti also gives +4 cha so even with the elite array, my cohort is granting +5 from his minor auras.

From there, I could go several directions. Maybe the Creation Mantle for Minor Creation and all the organic materials based poison we can chug (in 4 hour increments anyway or 8 if I take extend power.) The mantle aura on that one is pretty cool too:

Quote from: Garryl's Divine Mind/Marshal
Enemies treat the area as difficult terrain, even flying or incorporeal enemies, and even if there is no terrain at all.

If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, or comments feel free to chime in.

Can your thrall have monster class levels instead of normal monsters? Four levels of a lot of those are enough for some very fun thralls, especially adding a level of pseudonatural creature. For instance, displacer beast is exactly 4 levels long

Otherwise, I'm sure there are plenty of fun CR 4 creatures.

I'll ask, but I'm currently assuming it has to be just a normal example of its kind since I'm not attracting it through leadership or anything, I just hunted it down, and used vile transformation to make it into a thrall.

I've looked through most of the MMs and I'm not finding anything especially impressive within the parameters. The int of 2 or less restriction rules out many of the more interesting options.

I'm not 100% whether something with no int score would qualify on that count. If it would there might be some Ooze or Construct options I've overlooked.

I think I just don't have gear. Guess it would help to link my character sheet, too.

Hmm, also don't have my affiliation settled...
