Probably, though I've been done for a while now.

Testing... 1, 2, 3.

Would this work as a text color for Cornelia? Would it be alright with everyone?

Would this be better?

I think I like this one, myself.

Looks good to me.

sirpercival: Can Kluz begin treating Cornelia as an ally for his motivate cha minor aura (Kluz's motivate cha can be assumed to be on at all times if not otherwise stated) in order to boost her upcoming diplomacy check? If not, could he do so if he made an aid another attempt?

That's assuming you're ok with it, Drammor. You don't have a +6 or greater circ bonus from anywhere else, do you?

Circumstance bonuses stack when not from essentially the same circumstance.

I'm in every way not opposed to it. As much as help as I can get would be great. My bonus breakdown looks like this right now:

+9 ranks, diplomacy
+6 morale, Kluz
+4 insight, soulmeld (1 essentia allocated)
+4 competence, circlet
+4 untyped, charisma
+3 untyped, psicrystal
+2 circumstance, circlet
+1 untyped, polite trait

Additionally, if a Diplomacy check is allowed, Natali and Winthrop will attempt to aid Cornelia by giving her telepathic hints and advice through her worldthought network, possibly providing up to another +4 (since that is among the reasons she employs them).

Also, the Magus is our employer, so we're essentially allies at this point, and the reward for going along with Cornelia would be favorable for the Magus and have little risk of personal backlash, so her check should qualify for a -10 DC modifier on the check, right?

Edit: Sir P has responded to a personal message; yes, I can use Kluz's aura, and anyone who feels with would be appropriate may attempt to use the aid another action.

Now I just need to know where and how I'm supposed to make the check.

Also, after reading into Divine Mind/Marshal, I learned that the bonus is a morale bonus, not a circumstance bonus. Nonetheless, I did not already have one of these, so we're still good.

Second Edit: I have done this: http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=7053.msg135913#msg135913

Heh, if we were using the SRD diplomacy rules rather than Rich Burlew's fix you just hit the DC to turn him Fanatic from Helpful. Would be nice to have a high level mage willing to throw himself in front of a Dragon for us...*

*The above in no way endorses the use of the SRD diplomacy rules, particularly the epic uses section.

EDIT:

Crap, I thought it was like the regular Marshal. Well, no harm done at least.

Speaking of Poisons, Kluz's Craft(poisonmaking) check is currently +25 including his aura bonus and a +5 competence from a Ritual.

Taking 10 he can craft Black Lotus Extract with Minor Creation (extend power makes it last for the Union Regulated 8 hr Adventuring Day) but he can't quite hit the DC 40 that SirP ruled Greensickness has.

With another ritual to boost his Int for +1 and 2 aid another actions (the Aura grants +6 to those checks too and craft is not trained only so anyone with Int 16+ could auto pass it) he could hit DC 40 but that's assuming aid another is a valid action for a check related to manifesting a power (we do have telepathy and helping out from inside his head makes it more plausible.)

TL;DR, if and when you want poison it can be produced in a minute or so.

So once we've finished making the poor schlub who hired us feel comfortable, what are we going to do?

So far, the standard is "go on a mini dungeon crawl for bonding purposes."

Do we want to go with that, or do we have other ideas?

Bonding doesn't seem to be this group's style. Still, we might need an exercise to adjust to our natural combat rhythms. *shrug*

I want to start poisoning people ;) maybe do a couple professional hits, or something?

As for most of my buddies, they'll set up shop and start making poison and drugs. Those who need space in my shop to sleep or store things can have it, like CNC.

maybe we can go pick a fight with someone small and soft to get our rhythm down?

If your character knows of a hit or similar contract we could fill as a group, that would be an interesting alternative to the "go to sewers and kill rats/troglodytes" pattern while accomplishing the same goals.

In a city like gratis, I'm sure there's someone or some group of about the right level who didn't pay the right protection money or something.

+1 for this hit job idea. Working out our combat rhythm is going to be important, though. At least, to me...
