Kyuss Worm emanothrope: How the hell does it work?
« on: October 09, 2012, 01:25:26 AM »
Note: I'm not sure if this should go in the "ask a question" section or not. The posting guidelines said that it wasn't for opinions or discussion; only straight answers. The question I'm asking is very ambiguous by RAW which is why I posted it here.

The kyuss worm is a monster that doesn't actually have a statblock (that I can find). Instead it has a little note in the spawn of kyusses (MM2) monster entry as well as many other Kyuss related monsters where it says "Each worm is a Fine vermin with 1 hit point and AC 10. It can be killed by normal damage or the touch of silver".

By RAW a kyuss worm can be used for the emanothrope (were vermin) template?. However since it doesn't have an actual statblock (that I can find) How the heck does it interact with it?
Please, call me Count :).

The problem is... You have to homebrew a stat block for the worm... Once you make that or take something similar and use that, it'll work fine

link didn't work, this does ---> http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20040621a

hmm ... speculating ... Swarms have stat blocks
and a [ "worm" + fluff ] could be a re-fluffed swarm.
Then work backwards.
