I was curious so I googled the question to see if anyone had done it. It turns out a man who goes by the name of Viladin is doing great work at converting Final Fantasy into a playable table top D20 system. Some things still need to be converted, but a lot of the material has already been finished. He has done great work. A lot of the balance is already done, there is a ton of content already created. The man does well at keeping up on everything and maintaining the website. It is definitely worth checking out if you love Final Fantasy and want to run a campaign in that system.
