Huh, I must have written it down on my quicklist incorrectly, then. I will have to adjust that.

Alright, sandstorm is back on!

Is the wind DC based on the spell (level and modifier) or just the wind condition?

II believe it's on the spell from the description, which would be...20 in this case.

Duh, this is one of those weird cases... Actually from my reckoning normally that spell should have been Save:none, and the DC for the Wind. BUT... maybe that would make it too powerful. Maybe the spell DC replaces the one for the wind, but then that would mean there is a constant DC independant of resulting wind speed. OR it's actually a double-save: Once for the spell, and once for the wind. I think this is what the RAW says.

Quote
Each round on your turn, a creature in the wind must make a Fortitude save or suffer the effect of being in the windy area.

So it's two saves, once for the spell, and if you fail that, another for the wind. Rather tedious, but...

Tedious, but it means two chances to not go rolling down the dunes.

Yay, I've found a mapping software for the tablet, so the demon base scene can soon begin.

Alright, i have played around with the app a bit, trouble is there is no convenient way to get a grid coordinate system (with letters) on it.  That means it will be kind of hard for you to give me instructions on where you wish to go with your characters. It would be great if maps were cooperatively editable, but that is not the case over the internet, only when you use the app at the table.
Maybe we just have to approximate speeds a bit and you give me rough positions relative to tactically important features and not worry too much about a square or two more or less.

Or if all have smartphones you might know of some way of doing this via some sort of cloud service?

Google Drive (formerly googledocs) can do that with drawings, and you can set who can edit it by email address, so anyone with a smartphone or computer could make adjustments, and you can review changes as they are made.

I'll have to look at Google-drive, because regular google-docs don't work well on the tablet.

Or maybe I'll look at the limited office capabilities on the tablet and then just share a dropbox-folder. Anyone can install open office, if we can find some compatible file format that everyone can edit or at least see...

Ok i'm feeling kind of stupid, because all the time i had polaris office installed, which reads all my excel files. The only problem it has is that of course it cannot handle custom macros and functions in excel. So my fantastic roller sheet does not really work in it's latest version. But my old version which only uses standard excel functions works fine. So now i'm going to have to downgrade to not use my macros, but that's a manageable sacrifice to make.

Still I'm not quite there, but soon.
I think though, that i'm just going to share a dropbox folder for the maps instead of posting links this time.
