I want to use "adaptive" on spellfire.

Good News: Spellfire is a valid target for weapon focus, so there may be something in that direction that could help.

Bad News: It's Spellfire. Good luck finding anything that supports it >.<

I think you're out of luck.  You can get WF: Ray too, but you can't enchant your Ray of Enfeeblement to be adaptive.

You'll probably have to handwave an item that can apply feats to magical effects.
