Well. I went to look up what the heck caster sugar was, and I can safely say I've never seen it in my entire life, so it would seem Wikipedia's region-biased on that one.
You can also make a sort of caramel by melting brown sugar together with butter, but it's quite different (more of a caramel "sauce").
Um, maybe? I don't know much about cooking, only eating.
Sugar (being plant matter) should contain all elements in some combination shouldn't it?
