Fun fact: a 10 billion kiloton nuke detonated in New York city would be enough to cause 3rd-degree burns to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere.

It would probably also throw up enough dust to send the planet into a new ice age...

And if you replace all those digits with a 9 you do the same to the entire world except the part on the opposite side.  For yours, there's probably enough energy to alter the rotation, and maybe even alter the orbit of the Earth.  I actually think that at that point you're starting to confuse the program.  I went up slowly and it started wrapping around the world, and I got bigger and the blast radius shrunk.

EDIT: try 999,999,999,999, and compare it to the same with one more 9.

If it doesn't give you vertigo...

And if it doesn't burn out your computer.  Man my laptop got hot while that thing was open...graphics was working over time and the fact that it's hard to hold it off my lap for extended periods of time.  I swear, my laptop needs a cleaning...

Because I specifically want to annihilate the East Coast, creating a large pit that the oceans will drain into (oh, wait, they are pretty much all going to be steam, anyway. I'm actually wondering if that would have enough heat to remove a good portion of the atmosphere...)

Feh, if anything, I should be targeting North Korea.

Show 'em what a nuke feels like.

Anyway, I rediscovered this because I was trying to calculate how many Tsar Bombas it would take to annihilate the Earth.

By the way, you'd need about 1 quadrillion copies of the Tsar Bomba to completely overcome the gravitational binding energy of Earth.

So good. Loved the quality!  :p

I liked this. An interesting, and amusing read.

Do you know how long someone who is as sarcastic as I am would last in prison? Suuuuuuch a long time.

Birds demonstrating the use of forced perspective.

My jaw dropped when i saw the use of support columns. Goddamn, Nature. Why do you always have to make us humans feel underachieved?
