Little over 20k.

Doesn't seem like much in comparison, I know, but it's still over 50 times any paycheck I've ever gotten and a little under 20 times the most I've ever had on hand.

EDIT: It took me roughly 15 minutes to close it, too.

And it seems you guys use the European "decimals." In the US and several other places it'd be $600,000 with the comma. Never understood it really, especially since a comma is for a pause while a period is a full stop.

That's because we use commas for what comes AFTER 0.

0,3 = approx. 33%, for example.

That's a European thing? I've never seen it.

... though the UK alternates between 'screw having punctuation in numbers' and commas. Definitely use full stops for decimals. Maybe it's some continental thing.

It is. I can't speak for the rest of continental Europe, but in the German language area, one thousand and a half will be written as 1.000,5. Another common practiceis to separate every three digits with a space, like 1 000,5.

In the UK we would write that 1,000.5 or 1000.5 depending (quite often the , is only used with longer numbers where guaging magnitude is a practice in counting groups. 100,000 or 1,000,000 for example)
