I need Ooze. Lots of Ooze.
« on: December 05, 2012, 01:08:46 PM »
Which is to say I require a list of Ooze type monsters for a project I've been working on, beyond the normal Gelblock/gray/black ones. Obscure ones a plus.

Well, living spells come to mind.  And then in Dungeonscape there's the Sentry Ooze template to make it intelligent.

"Ooze" is a creature type if you find a comprehensive list of monsters. If you want ooze-like monsters as well, Bloodrot (HoH 140) and Blood Amniote (LM 87) are undead, and I think there is a Bone Ooze or something similar as well. Offhand, in addition to the Monster Manuals you can find oozes in Sandstorm (Brine and Lava, 178) and Frostburn (White Pudding, 147). Looking up those page numbers just now tells me that you can try the Fiend Folio (3.0 but has an official conversion).

Conflagration ooze. Nothing says racial hide bonus +8 like a big ball of fire!

It hides in the huge cloud of black smoke that always seems to be blocking your view of it.

Ooo! I had a player make undead ooze once. He called it Wight Pudding.

Ugh ... that's why I didn't wanna remember that Jello template name.

MOI has Oozes limited to the Heart and Soul bindings.
Still that's kinda nuts at level 2.
