I recently got to start playing in a new campaign that started kind of spur of the moment. All 3-5 of us started at 10th level. I rolled up a straight Wilder since I haven't played one before, and all was good and well. The first session was fun (we torched a UFO) but when I got home I noticed something: the 15,000 starting gold we got is waaay under wealth by level! Now I don't know if the DM is aware of the wealth-by-level table, I'll probably mention it to him at some point, but for now I am inclined to just roll with it.
So, having blown the starting gold in character creation and knowing that economic exploits involving walls of iron will be frowned upon, I have the 2000 odd gold pieces that we made from selling the UFO as scrap metal to a university. What is the most important equipment you think I should get, in order from most urgent to could wait a few levels?
Things to Keep in Mind:- I am capable of using and willing to use most of everything mentioned in The Complete Cost Reduction Handbook. (I think I'm down to applying a coefficient of ~.13 to the base market price.)
- XP costs have been done away with in Pathfinder.
- Due to a quirk in the item creation system, even as a psionic character I can craft anything except potions, scrolls, wands, and staves.
Notably, I already possess a Belt of Healing, a Wand of CLW, Glamered +1 Chain Shirt, Gloves of the Master Strategist, and a medley of mundane miscellany.
