I couldn't highlight it in green, but Dunor asked a question and my character responded in that exact same tone. So to give an accurate portrayal Of what Atanos said I did that, but from now on I will use this thread if you like

As an example of what Melblen suggested, your post might look something like the following:

Quote
In exasperation, Atanos replies bluntly to Dunor's question, saying, "We've found nothing."

As Melblen said, Rolls can also be hidden behind spoiler tags to keep them separated into OOC stuff.

You could even do it like this;

Quote
In exasperation, Atanos replies bluntly to Dunor's question, saying, "We've found nothing."

by using the insert hyperlink button it will allow you to paste the link into the first bracketed section;

Quote
[ url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4-rYlw1rRI]

then in between close bracket and open bracket put in the color change and what will be said to ultimately look like this;
Quote
[ url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4-rYlw1rRI][ color=green ]"We've found nothing."[ /color ][ / url]

granted I have insert some spaces in the above so that the code wouldn't actually perform it and I could display what you would see in typing it.

This would serve two purposes, it provides the exact visual aide of how your character would be saying something, and also gives us the same comedic value.

Then any further discussion or comments on it, like Sk4mpE's +1 for spaceballs reference, would be appropriately put here.

btw another +1 for the spaceballs reference!

In 4e there does not appear to be a way to take 20. There are specifics for taking a 10, which correspond to what you have seen in the past. When your not rushed or its a mundane task, then you may take a 10.

Either this will be really cool, or it will be the suck....I hope its the former. Something cool I will get to share in with my Son, so I am hoping they don't screw it up.

So, it doesn't seem entirely clear to me, but is this summons meant just for the others, or also for us newcomers as well?

I was just going to get to that today. 12 hour go-live shift got in the way.

There. I would have had the in last but I was so tired and was late when I got back to the computer that I decided to do it today.

If you still don't quite feel the motivation to join the group to see what the councilman wants we can run the B Thread while the ones that do go run in the main. I am curious about what type of rite you have in mind for your companions.

I was supposed to have a 14 hour pre-go-live shift yesterday which got cancelled by a fire in the data room, so I understand a bit. Take some time and rest, man!

Yeah, had another 12 today but luckily I am off tomorrow. Mostly boring today, my teams real work doesn't begin until like Tuesday.

Okay, I'm finally going to admit that I'm kind of lost and have no idea where my character or the rest of the Storm Wolves are since none of us has posted in awhile...

Well, you three could really be anywhere you would like at this point. I left it pretty open ended. If you wanted to accompany the original group to meet with Troyas you can because the guard welcomed you along. If you would like to go do something else while the others meet with the councilman that is also fine. We can fire up the B Thread and do what you would like to. You do have former companions to bury/burn/float down river.

I think at this point we'll have split off for now. That would explain why we haven't been participating in the current events, anyway. I've been trying to think of how to process that, but I've also been busy with personal stuff that's kept my posting to a minimum lately. Hopefully that will change soon.

I'm much in the same position, been having personal stuff going on. But that's over now  :D

It sounds like a good plan that we have bodies and friends to bury.

So do you three want to jump into the B thread then and handle your dead companions then?
