I think you use red though and since I use red mainly for most enemies, I flipped you to maroon on maps.

Yeah, the color is why I was double checking.

Edit: That was underwhelming.

Dragon breath is a close blast 3 that will target everyone in the radius not just enemies. You'd need an attack roll for every target, including the inadvertent ones in the hallway  :).

If you move far enough into the room, away from the party you can keep them out of the blast.

Wouldn't a blast 3 make it D, E, F/7, 8, 9 or E, F, G/7, 8, 9?

I read a close blast as having an origin square immediately next to the character and affecting, in this case, a 3x3 square.  Wouldn't what you're describing be a burst (and a sign of a serious need for healing)?

Close Blasts mean it is centered on you where a normal blast is centered on a square in range of the power.

The bottom of pages four and five show the difference between "blast" and "burst".

According to reading that I can't find at the moment (it's 2am, I may as we'll be drunk as tired as I am) if it was just a "blast" the AoE would occur around an origin square somewhere in range (fireball for instance).  A "close blast" means that the origin square must cause the power to be somehow adjacent to the characters tile e.g. the origin square of a 3x3 AoE close burst power will always be one tile away from the character so that a tile affected by that power will always be directly adjacent to them.  A "burst" however is a power where the origin square is always the tile that the character themselves is on and can not be aimed otherwise.

There seem to be some finer points about the number of affected entities in a burst being limited but in a blast not, but I would have to find those sources to be sure that's accurate.

Edit:  Here's one of the places I found that.

You are right, I was thinking Close Burst instead of Close Blast. You also have a line of effect so you are all good.

I am waiting for Sk4mpE to post for Soff'a. Then it is the Drakes' and Nrogut's turn. Then it is Dunor's turn. My responses and the Swarm Attacks were related to the Aura abilities of the Swarms.

If we did indeed rest up and this is a new encounter, would my persistent harrier feat teleport me to her when she hit my feet?  Right before she dropped me on the exploding alphabet in a heap of hungry lizard-roaches I mean.
