Not sure how many people are still playing. Atanos still does not have internet and have not talked to Sk4mpE in a bit but I am sure the holidays are keeping him busy. Shadow has a paper he is working on.

Hope the holidays are joyous and relaxing for everyone. I have some time off this coming week and I want to get this game back on track. I will keep playing the ones that have not returned but those still with us lets keep things moving.

I will also keep working on the next few encounters in both my games in the coming week to prevent waiting on me.

I'm still here. Holidays mean busy times at work, though I'm around fairly regularly. Caught off guard when trying to get my own game moving. Hopefully soon.

Cool. The goblins did address you guys. They are basically holding a dwarf hostage. I can have Soff'a toss the torch into the darkness to hopefully shed more light while plunging you all into darkness so you aren't as easy of targets.

Do it!  Anything that makes us harder to hit would be really nice.

If we are all spoiling for another fight, should we roll initiative?

You could, but you would need to be able to stop the one goblin from putting a crossbow bolt into the dwarfs head somehow.

Go ahead and roll them and we can see if you are fast enough to act before they kill the dwarf. You would need a way to restrain that goblin from taking it's standard action or kill the darn thing hehe. The do seem more intent on saving their own hides at this point though.

Hmm, I could probably charge at him and mark him, but not sure if he's readying an action. Do you guys want to try to reason with them? Or scare them away, at least. There are more of us than them, and if they kill the dwarf we will most certainly kill them.

If that's what we're doing, I could try and reason with them, seeing as I speak Goblin and have Diplomacy as a trained skill.

Could easily run talking them down and saving the dwarf as a skill challenge. I prepared for both ways of solving this situation.

I forgot to add in the status summary that I began using. Will do in the next update.

Two twenties in a row...  Look out, I might die tripping on flat land in the next friendly encounter.   :banghead

Hehe IC is like that sometimes...

I have put in the status but it is not indicative of the initiative rolls yet. I will use them if it comes to combat and reorg the names. Those in bold still need to go this round.

Oh, and Aurenn, we installed those magnetic child locks we saw at your house when there. Coolest damn things ever. Thank your wife for the idea.

A 28 didn't make them drop their weapons, grab their asses, and get the hell out of there?  These twerps have guts.

Yes!  I love those locks.  Just don't lose the key!

Being a skill challenge it does generate a success. I contemplated giving two successes for a crit but ultimately decided against it becuase some smaller challengesget resolved too fast that way.

Yeah, the keys cost $10 to replace. Which is like almost half what we paid for the set of locks.

I'm not sure what to do here.  Dalanath really wants to kill them, but if I bluff and say that we'll let them go then he'll be saying what the diplomacy people are saying.

Hmmmm.
