I saw that. Seems like the swordmage luck with initiative rolls in this game has continued on  :)

It is back up this morning. Sucks that it was down last night as I was trying to compile the status info I put in many of my combat round posts. I had to make do with what I had available to me already but I may be missing some misc info in them and will update as we go.

Those of us in the US are heading into a holiday this week. I will be off work for 5 days after today but will be fairly busy. My regular posts may be varied a lot but I will still be able to keep the game going smoothly.

Looks like we need an init from bhu, Nanshork, and Shadowhunter yet.

Looks like Shadowhunter will be not be available until Friday. I will post his initiative check when I get home from work today and I will take any turns for him he might miss while away.

I looked up the rules for surprise rounds after rolling for my round's actions, and was disappointed to learn that you can only take a single standard, move, or minor action during the surprise round. Disappointed mainly because the roll I made was a 19! What a waste!  :shakefist

Bah!  BAH!  I could have used that 19!
So much for my impressive entrance (sneak attack is not used, unlike my encounter power. :( )

EDIT:   Actually with Combat Advantage (which I forgot to include), that first shot would have been a 15 . . . might be close at least!

Map is updated.

Updated the party status post for Shandien's correct resists. Had it at 7 because Mythweavers was down last night when I was filling out my template for the party status.

Corrected my post above as my kids were screaming when I was reading Inspectre's in game post and did not realize he used a power that allowed for the move and the attack. my mistake.

Posted a response to the attack and the moves. Also posted for Thespias as well.

Inspectre, your initial attack did miss even with the 15 on the attack. Does that mean you did expend your Elven Accuracy power?

Also for those new to one of my games. I don't mind posting out of turn. In the status sections I try to indicate who's turn is next with the red arrow and the larger text, I also have those party members that follow that current PC's turn in larger text to indicate that they could probably go out of turn without too much adverse impact to the person before them. Keeps the game moving along though there are instances when some posts have to be corrected.

Bart, Are you using Mozilla? I recall I had significant difficulties with Invisible Castle back when I was using firefox on my old computer. So I would always use IE for just my invisible Castle use and Firefox for all my other browsing needs.

I'm using Chrome. The odd thing is that I never receive the activation email. I even check my spam/junk. The account is created though, because when I attempt to create another account with the same name, the site informs me that the account already exists.

Also, please review monster knowledge checks in the PHB1. You can garner quite a bit of information with a successful use and it does not cost an action to use.

No problem, keep using this sites roller until you get it figured out. While using this sites roller though, do not edit/modify your posts as it will throw up a red warning that the post had been edited and the roll could have been tampered with. To avoid that just post again, changing what you wanted to correct.

I am also going to start the first flashback encounter soon. Working on the map for it. Will take place from the few nights pirior when the town was attacked. Should help explain how the new characters got thrown together. Venn and Shadow can also participate and run some quick NPCs with class templates if you would like (random townsfolk, townguards, or other mercenaries/caravan guards) for this one shot encounters.

I will start a flashback thread for the purposes of running these. Will have one or two encounters for that night. I will also likely have an encounter set while traveling to the ruins if you want. Being a flashback though, it would be messy if anyone dies so lets not wipe the party on them  :lmao. These just go toward getting more used to each of your characters and building relationships with each other.
