Dalanath quirks an eyebrow at Søffå, obviously amused at his discomfort.

Everyn keeps his eyes open for the land marks called out on the map as well as signs of the goblins passing through helping the group.

Søffå, having packed all of his new gear into his backpack (space being a bit tight), returns to the gate to find his party ready to depart.  Without a word, he falls in line as the party ventures out, alongside Dunor, near the head of the group.

Confused as to where they are headed, Søffå looks at the map once again; in a bit of luck, he recognizes one of the large trees crudely drawn by the goblin as similar to those he grew up around as a boy.  "This variety does not grow in these parts, but further to the north." he mutters, hoping that his knowledge is not too out of date...

At least the added heft in his pack does not seem to be as much of a burden as he thought - For now, thankfully, he seems to be dealing rather well with the rigors of the journey.

The halfling tries his best to assist in the search, but his skills aren't really suited to the task.

Søffå's knowledge of the region helps keep the party on the least hazardous routes. While Everyn lends his keen sight to the search for signs. Thespias has no lock in spotting much. All three seem to be weathering the heat and rigors of travel well enough.

Several of the landmarks start to make sense to Dalanath and the party appears to cover alot of ground based on what that map is showing, but the heat is beginning to take it's toll on him.

Dunor tries his best to keep the group moving more efficiently, as he had trained to do while at sea for so long. To the extent of his memory, anyway.

Dunor's advice on how to move more efficiently goes a long way in helping the group conserve energy in the heat and increasing altitude.

The group moves easily through the wilds for the first few hours and encounter very few natural hazards due to the watchfulness of several in the party. Even the heat seems to be mitigated by frequent short breaks and traveling in the shade of trees. The terrain does become more rugged and the paths you are taking seem to rise in elevation as you near the foothills region before the Greypeak Mountains.

Everyn also keeps his eyes open for landmarks and signs of passage. The rigors of travel begin to weigh on the less vigorous Eladrin.

Emboldened (and surprised) by his success, Søffå continues to look for clues in the forest to help guide the party.
