The frost backlash only slightly stings the Kruthik, pulling away it's claw rimed in a thin layer of ice.

The electrical arc from Dunor's hammer drags in one of the Kruthik young closer and the energy coming off the Warden shocks the nearby hatchlings into death. A clap of thunder knocks all but one to the ground.

The prone young Kruthik gets its legs back under it and continues to rip away at the Warden.

The other young kruthik continues its onslaught.

The last of the hatchlings continues its pursuit of the halfling and manages a few swipes of its small claws.

Now bleeding from multiple stab wounds, the Halfling desperately tries to kill the kruthik hacking away at him, but to no avail.

"So, this is how you want it, yes?"

The faintest hint of a smile flashes over Søffå's face; brandishing his sword, he steps back from the beast and girds himself.  He takes a brief moment to drink a mouthful from his wineskin, preparing for the second half of battle.

"Alright, come to me - I am prepared!"

Sickened by the poison running through his veins, Atanos takes a look around quickly then moves away around the pit but not wanting to press his luck stops short. He turns and calls down a ray of light that sears the Kruthik Adult engaged with Søffå, while a radiance surrounds the elven cleric but he cannot seem to shake the ill effects the poison is having on him.

Dalanath once again strikes at the Kruthik he is flanking, knowing that if it isn't brought down quickly another might die.  Too many people he knows have died already these past days.  After attempting to sink his blade into the creature Dalanath sidesteps away.

Dalanath's blade sinks deep into the Adults back piercing a vital organ it looses a long shrieking hiss and collapses to the ground in fits of death.

Kruthik Ambush Round 5 Results!

The first adult brings bony claws to bare on Søffå, the first few strikes grazing off his magical protections with runes flaring in midair, but one claw slips in. As the Kruthik bears down on Søffå, the swordmage whips around and unleashes a wave of frost from his blade, biting back at his attacker. The frost backlash only slightly stings the Kruthik, pulling away it's claw rimed in a thin layer of ice.

The other adult frenzys at Dunor.

Dunor grunts as the Kruthik attacks him, but continues assaulting the nearby bugs. The electricity coursing through his hammer arcs between all of his foes! With a hiss of defiance as if it understood what Søffå was conveying the creature angles it's tail in the tall swordmage's direction at his taunts and the bony protrusions on it spew forth in a shower that sprays toward Søffå and Dalanath. Spikes stop within inches of Søffå and fall to the ground as runes flare on the mystical shielding of the swordmage's form while the lithe rogue deftly dodges clear of the spray using the taller human as his own living shield.

The hammers strike splatters bone and gore everywhere when it contacts the Kruthik's skull. The discharge of electricity arcing to the next one, jolting it.

The last of the Kruthik Young keeps up the assault while still smoking from the electrocution it took.

The hatchling keeps up the pursuit on the backpeddaling halfling matching his steps and swiping with it's bony claws.

The adult creature continues its volley of bony protrusions, spraying them at Soff'a and Dunor but there is little force behind them and they are deflected by magic and armor alike.

Dunor whips his hammer at the remaining adjacent kruthik, though the protracted battle seems to be running the warrior out of steam.

The halfling, now splattered with blood both his own and others, let's loose another bolt of lightning. The force of the blast briefly scorch the monster flinging toxic spikes as the majority of the force arcs and hits the other creature.
