Dalanath stays where he is, dagger drawn, waiting to see what the others do.

One of the goblins grabs his spent torch from the fountain and both then scurry around the edge of the room. They reach the corner and are quickly moving toward the edge of the lit space where Dunor and Soff'a lay in wait.

As the Goblins whisper to each other Gamesh realizes that he recognizes both of them from the goblin slaver caravan.  As the green glow in his eyes swells he growls, "Kill them."

At the first sign of treachery the goblins raise their crossbows back. Tkanz screams, "Tricks! Xer shoot dems!" and with a small click his own crossbow fires the quarrel whistles at Atanos and hits the Elf in the leg.

(click to show/hide)

Xer fires almost at the start of Tkanz's warning. The dismal little crossbow does not have much power behind it and what would have hit Gamesh in the head drops over the distance and slams into his groin.

The bolt sizzles in but the goblins are too agile and duck and dodge out of the way.

Dropping his scythe, Atanos grabs his bow and nocks an arrow in a single motion and lets fly at Xer. The goblin squeals like a stuck pig when the missile buries itself into his body.

The tall human's blade hums through the air as he slashes into the unaware goblins. Xer falls under the initial onslaught and the sudden magical wave of slashing force slams into both, four separate pieces of goblin hit the floor unmoving.

As the enemies die, Atanos uses his healing magic on his wounds. Offering the same to Gamesh's injuries as the group takes interest in the dwarf hanging unconscious from the wall.

Dunor runs over to the dwarf and unties the bindings that hang him like some sort of twisted decoration upon the wall. He gently lowers the body to the ground.

"Hey, is there anything we can do for this fellow? He's pretty badly roughed up."

Søffå glances at his blade, somewhat surprised by the carnage it has wrought.  He quickly wipes the blade, then enters the room cautiously.

Picking up his torch in his free hand, Søffå looks at the dwarf being attended by Dunor; seeing his state, he sheathes his blade and offers some of his water to the prisoner.

The chains pull free of the wall with a good tug from Dunor's large arms. After a few moments the resilient prisoner comes to. "Ach, me head. Feels like ah had a hard night of drinkin' Durgen's Stout." taking a few small draws from Søffå's waterskin. ""Thank ye. Ye all are a sight fer me swollen eyes."

Gamesh recounts escaping the goblin slavers, meeting the group, and their decsent into the dungeon.  Taking a seat on the ground across from the dwarf the Dragonborn slips into a light meditation and asks "How are you known?  What is your name"

The dwarf listens intently to Gamesh's telling grimly but brightens about the escape, "Giv'in it to mor'in a few of em on yer way out there eh?"

"Me name's Adronsus Mordar o' the Sundabar Mordar's. Be an Alchemist by trade." the dwarf manages proudly even in his beaten state. "Wonder what those buggers did to me shop back in Loudwater." and then as if he was hit suddenly by the thought, "Have ye run across any o' the others yet?"

"Well, lets see to some of those wounds." Atanos states and whispers a prayer to his deity, drawing on the divine power to close some of the Dwarf's more severe injuries.

"Ah, ye have me thanks lad."
