"Priests of Amaunator are not trained to move silently," Tanthanlus whispers apologetically after seeing the care Dunor and Galadren are taking in moving about.  He tries regardless, never willing to back down from a chance to help another.

Shandien follows silently toward the east entrance.

"What do you hear?" he asks the others in a low rumble, standing sideways behind Tanthalus, facing northward to allow himself vision of the north and east doors.

Backing ever so slightly away from the door, Galadren whispers to the group clustered around him.

"Bad guys.  Six of 'em."

Galadren pantomimes kicking the door open and firing his crossbow, and then returns to his perch by the doorway, planning to remain hidden while the first wave of his companions crash through the door, and then ambush anyone on the other side that turns to focus on them.

Dunor nods, a smile spreading across his face. His depth perception should have been shot, but somehow it doesn't slow him down as he leans back, then kicks into the door with all of his force.

The door bursts inward with a tremendous smash. The ruined portal revealing a short hallway with a bend to the right a few paces in. The arguing issues forth from around the corner for only a short second after the calamity of the door coming off its hinges and ceases, the occupants of the area beyond the corner taken aback at the sound.

Dunor barrels down the hallway with furious abandon, despite the phantom reminder that charging into battle is exactly what did not work last time. He shrugs off the feeling, and bursts into the doorway.

"Hello, boys. Long time, no see."

A battle-crazed grin opens up onto the man's face.

Galadren is only a step behind Dunor as the man crashes through the doorway and races down the hallway beyond towards the voices.
Nearing the corner, Galadren reflexively tucks into a shoulder roll, just in case their enemies were better prepared than expected.
As he comes back up onto his feet in the section of hallway beyond the corner, the elf's eyes rapidly scan the assembled cluster of goblinoids (I'm assuming they're goblinoids).

Not seeing any obvious soft targets amongst the bunch, Galadren brings his crossbow up to his shoulder and takes aim at the nearest one.
For a moment, the elf freezes as his mind probes back through his memory, trying to recall something pithy to say.
He knew that in his past life, he had known how to speak in the goblin tongue - the better to insult them - and like other parts of his memory, language was a frustrating blank spot.  His mind manages to find one scrap though, a single word.

"Bozzvek!"

Galadren shouts as he lets the crossbow bolt towards his target.  He had no idea what he had just shouted - it could be a dire insult in goblin or their word for "chicken" for all he knew!  He just hoped it sounded fierce as his bolt streaked towards his off-balance target.

Tanthalus swiftly moves forward, mace in hand.  He stays behind Dunor, not wanting to be in the thick of battle.

Those rounding the corner quickly still catch that the room is littered with bedrolls and disgarded items along the walls. A pack of Hobgoblins stand in the ceneter of the room, looking dumbfounded toward the crashing sound.

"Akorthaar!", one of the hobgoblins shout as the crossbow bolt swishes passed and sinks into the shield of another of the creatures. The attack seems to shake them out of their initial shock of the entry.

Thespias hurries along as fast as his shorter legs can carry him to keep pace with his larger companions. His hair begins to stand on end as static build and anger flashes in his eyes like that of a storm, "So much for the surprise approach.", and he throws himself into casting his first spell.

A bit stunned by Dunor's sudden kick, Shandien gathers himself and dashes towards the others. Placing himself as the vanguard, Shandien quickly studies his adversaries.

Shandien surges past the group at a stride, leaping past the Humans to cover the warlock. You all clearly make out your foes. Most are in ragged leather armor, patched in many places, their jagged swords have seen better days but will still inflict grievous wounds and each of these hobgoblins carries a shield that can easily overlap against a similar shield. Two of the group stand out in their chainmail armor. One starts the head of his flail swinging in arcs about his shield. The other totes a longspear but prepares to grab one of the few javelins from an oversized quiver on his back.

"Nuunnaan kac o druuc rhaakluugaan daan agaan oc duuc or an!" the flail wielder orders in a gruff voice, the other scramble to comply.
