The Halfling ignores the Dunor's request to fall back and rushes forward instead to the safety of cover behind the nearest coffin. As he stops for a breather and looks left, he sees three more hobgoblin leering down at him swords already posed to strike those rounding the corner and two more raise from behind the sarcophagus.

With his longer legs, the elf archer is easily able to keep up with the goblin as it attempts to flee.

"Where do you think *you're* going?"

Galadren asked as he shot the goblin in the back again, sliding up behind it against just as he finishes sliding a new bolt into place in his crossbow.

Knerug works to reload his crossbow and then brings it back up ready shoot the Halfling if he moves out from his cover.

Gsurb rounds the sarcophagus on the hiding Halfling and drops his blade toward the small foe to skewer him. Theo pushes off the Coffin just in time for the blade to pass by.

Sgark raises from behind the stone coffin near Knerug and levels his own crossbow.

Zos brings his blade in a backhand arc down on the Halfling,


Nust and Bun both clamber up onto the top of the coffin and poke their swords downward at Thespias.


Galadren's crossbow bolt skips off the wall above the Gom's head.

Tulugaq clears the second span in the floor with ease and stops around the corner to see a number of hobgoblins descending upon Thespias.

Shandien races up the stairs and through the open door to the entry chamber and sees no sign of the goblin.

Dunor mutters a curse under his breath.

"What part of fall back don't you understand, Theo?!"

The warrior grunts, then rolls around the corner with his weapon at the ready. Building momentum, Dunor bounces off the opposite wall of the corridor, then attempts to use that momentum to run up and along the other wall and kick off it, landing behind the Hobgoblins attacking his friend. He then slashes at them in a menacing flourish.

The hobgoblins watch in awe as Dunor goes over and between them. Bun has enough of his wits about him to jump as the first blade comes in to take his legs, Gsurb is not so loucky, taking Dunor's second blade in the chest.

Gom spins from being shot at and fires his tiny crossbow at Galadren while stepping back. Grinning stupidly by the solid sound the small quarrel makes when it strikes.

There is a faint sound above the din of combat of a powerful bow being drawn back and then an arrow flies from the darkness, streaks between combatants and slams into Tulugaq.

From the wrought iron stairs in the northern corner comes a hiss and the sound of booted feet as a green drake and three more hobgoblins start clammering down the stairs to join the melee.

Knerug unleashes a bolt at Dunor but it shanks hopelessly wide and strikes near Zos' head sinking into the stone. Reloading his crossbow the hobgoblin shuffles back into the darkness.

Sgark lets his bolt fly off at Tulugaq, the warlock's shifting infernal darkness surrounding him masks his true form and the missile sails just past.

Galadren manages to block the bolt with his arm, the projectile thankfully only penetrating the first layer of hide armor.
The elf doubted that he would be that lucky again.

Zos is bathed in a shaft cold starlight and collapses to the ground screaming insanely for an instant until he lies still.
