Animal Companion Handbook?

Is there a handbook on maximizing the effectiveness of your animal companion?  In the handbook list I saw 2 guides for families, and 1 for (super)mounts.  But nothing dedicated to just animal companions.

Am I blind, or do we not have that guide?

The (very old) Druid's Handbook over at WotC had a pretty good breakdown of which ACs were useful for which situations.  I don't think it's been ported over.

The druid handbook here has a section on animal companions, but it isn't entirely complete.  I'd love to see something that lists any feats, spells, items, and interesting tricks / combos to get the most out of your companion.
