Is SNA IX as silly as it looks?

Is SNA IX as silly as it looks? I mean, besides storm elementals and other stuff from splats... it looks very flat. You could summon a unicorn, or two kinds of farie. Were is the advanced HD ginormous dire bear? Or whatever.

What do you mean? SNA IX has plenty of okay options if you like 1d3 or 1d4+1 of the same thing.

The faeries have okay spell-like abilities but in general you are right the spell isn't that fantastic.

It just felt like a major disconnect... the SNA line felt like a way for the druid to call in some animals to swarm stuff. Admittedly you can just call in elementals, but still... weird.

The thing about CoDzilla is it isn't so exact at every
single data point.  Druids are plug + play = smash.
But sure, they roll off a little compared to Cleric 9s
or Wizard 9s ... or especially a dedicated Summoner.

Homegame can have easy soup ups to compensate.
Say like giving a 16hd animal "king" similar goodie
power levels to a 16hd demon or aberration.
Your codpiece is a mimic.
