Wizard5/incantatrix6/mindbender1/incantatrix+4/archmage4
Sadly incantatrix doesn't have the clause that wizard bonus feats do.  Because spell mastery isn't a metamagic feat, I'm not sure how to get it further into the back end.  Basically I want it at 17th level or later for 9th level spells.  I also want uncanny forethought of course, which will presumably eat up my 18th level feat.

Any other general thoughts?  No particular goal in mind, just general God-like batman utility.  Probably going to be a grey elf with the transmuter domain, a hummingbird familiar (Dragon 323, +4 initiative, or +8 with level 3 elven racial sub), and enchantment banned (due to incantatrix).  Long campaign, no leveling or advancement, starts at 20.  20th level WBL, prospects of acquiring much higher than 20th WBL throughout the campaign are slim.

All 3.0/3.5 allowed, high op, but nothing too murky (IE, elven generalist+domain wizard).  I know that's sort of nebulous, but don't think too hard about it, post any suggestions at all I suppose, and I'll weed out things that would not be accepted.  Point buy is unknown, but there will be enough for int to be at 18, therefore assume +2 racial, +6 enhancement, +5 inherent, and +5 from leveling for 36 int.

Feat progression at the moment:
1: Arcane disciple (winter)
3: Spell focus
5: Piercing cold (this and the winter domain are the only things I'm not going to cut for thematic reasons)
6: Empower spell, spell focus
9: Extend spell, skill focus (spellcraft)
12: Mindsight
13: Persistent spell
15: Spell mastery
16: Quicken spell
18: Uncanny forethought

I think I should point out that Spell Mastery's benefits are not static once you take it: The feat scales with your Int modifier. Thus it doesn't matter when you take it, but it does matter when you improve your Int score with your Inherent Bonuses.

If you delay your Inherent Bonuses until 17th level, you are guaranteed 2 spells with Spell Mastery (and a 3rd at 20th level).

Hm, I hadn't thought of interpreting it that way.  I suppose retroactivity is only ever mentioned with skill points, and I don't think anyone likes anything written in such a way that you have an incentive to delay taking it.  I'll run it by my DM.

If you're willing to be a specialist wizard, take a level of master specialist (Complete Mage) instead of wizard 5, the take the 5th level of wizard in place of one of the archmage levels.

I'd much rather not specialize, but I did have an inkling in that direction.  Are there any prcs that can be taken prior to incantatrix though?  Really, the wizard levels could easily be sacrificed for anything else.
