Detect Magic (Sp): At 2nd level, you gain the ability to detect nearby magic and magical effects.  You can use detect magic a number of times per day equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1).  Your caster level with this ability is equal to your shaper level.

AC Bonus: At 3rd level, you learn to adapt quickly to the field of battle.  You gain a bonus to AC equal to your Intelligence modifier as long as you wear light or no armor.  This bonus does not stack with AC bonuses from similar abilities.  You also gain a bonus equal to your Intelligence modifier on Concentration checks made to shape formulae defensively.

Formulae: At each level, you gain a new formula known from any of the circles of formulae to which you have access.  In addition to meeting the formula's prerequisite, your spellshaping ability score must be equal to at least 10 + the formula's level in order to learn it.  You add your full master reshaper levels to your shaper level to determine your total shaper level and your highest-level formulae known.
   
At each even-numbered level, you gain an additional formula prepared per day.

Effortless Reshaping (Ex): As a master reshaper, you dedicate yourself to manipulating the threads of arcane formulae.  Starting at 1st level, you can alter formulae with the Reshape Formula feat at will, rather than having to wait 5 rounds after altering a formula before doing so again.

Ghoros was once known as Voraujur. He was a Sorcerer and apprentice Magi known as a precocious student and a favorite of his mentor. His magical talent was as renowned as his force of personality. His future seemed bright until an incident that lit up the Magi gossip mill for some time afterwards. He was taking inventory of a store of arcane knowledge his mentor had aquired when he disappeared, turning up a day later in another archive on the other side of Gratis. What exactly happened to him was a subject of hot debated and complicated conspiracy theories involving anything from a jealous rival, to machinations of the church, to an errant demon. In any case his personality and abilities were radically altered. His talent for magic seemed destroyed and, far from his loud mouthed former self, he was consumed within himself, unwilling to talk or interact with anyone and interested only in scribbling unreadable notes and cutting pieces from books which he then pasted in odd patterns.

Ghoros's condition did not improve and within a few months of his affliction the gossips had moved on to fresher material. Whether from residual good will towards his former star apprentice or a desire to save face, his mentor had him lodged and cared for somewhere he could be quietly forgotten.

All this happened decades ago. Long enough that very few even remember the name Voraujur, much less associate it with the elderly Kobold calling himself "before and after" in draconic. Even so, they are the same creature. Bereft of his spellcasting power and most of his sanity, Ghoros spent decades painstakingly rebuilding his mind. His casting ability is still a ghost of what it was and his powerful Charisma is gone. However, the effort of rebuilding himself sharpened his intellect and he discovered a talent for a more fundamental form of arcane manipulation.

Perhaps all that remains of his old life is ambition. He still desires to excell as an arcanist and rise within the Magi and now he has an additional goal: find out what happened to him and make those responsible pay. His former fame is gone now but an impressive performance in the games will bring it to life once more.

Kragnar Wiseaxe loves many things, but none more than fighting. Except maybe booze. He has three rules: always put your heart into it, always try to put on a show, and always, ALWAYS use the largest axes humanly (Dwarfly? Dwarvenly?) possible. As a dwarf, he feels most at home underground, and has a decent repertoire of survival and dungeoneering knowledge.

Though he acts completely and utterly insane in combat situations, he's actually quite well spoken, intelligent and easy to get along with off the battlefield, though still somewhat boisterous at times. That might be alcohol-related.

Kragnar was an arena fighter for many years. Slowly but surely, he grew stronger, to the point where the dwarves in his stronghold were no longer a challenge for him. Upon reaching level 6 the top of the stronghold arena's leaderboard, his clansmen told him to seek out Gratis, home to mighty warriors and fierce monsters. When fighting, Kragnar puts on a powerful, angry, drunken facade. It makes him seem stupid at times, sure, but it gets the crowd on his side, which can be invaluable in some circumstances. He can turn it on and off like a lightswitch.

Though quite courteous, Kragnar has some difficulty interacting socially with some of the local populous due to their odd appearances, namely the monsters there. This mild xenophobia can be attributed to the short time he's spent in Gratis and his relatively sheltered life inside a stronghold. Still, he's managed to land himself a spot in the Delver's Guild, and among them, a few friends. He's incredibly eager to learn more about the abandoned dwarven settlement known as Dwarrowdeep, as he has reason to believe that his ancestors once called the place home.

He has a place in his heart for the dwarven gods, Moradin in particular, but elects to keep his faith a secret in Gratis to avoid persecution.

Rhulitir Lex is The Avenging Word, an Agent of Bahamut in the Dark God's Realm. Bahamut has no power here, but Truespeech tends not to care about the rules of gods or mortals. After realizing that the other Gods are completely cut off from the realm and becoming a Dragonborn would be impossible by normal means he begin to research Truespeech, in a desperate attempt to redefine the Dark God's limitations and serve his god. His old truename ceases to exist, and he is defined by his faith as a Dragonborn. Even if the gods can't intervene here, He's still a loyal agent of Bahamut, and he will see His will be done in the Dark God's realm.

El Drago Sonriente never exactly fit in with the other ogres. We're not quite sure why, but it might have had to do with the scales. And the talking a bit too much. Sure, he enjoyed the fight as much as the next guy, but for him it was something more than just bashing some brains in, it was mesmerizing. He realized the beauty in a fight, and that it could be achieved without necessarily killing either; which meant he could fight opponents again.

After this realization he went out on a sabbatical to contemplate this and what to do about it. At the end, he returned, boasting a code of conduct and an entirely new identity. He had become El Drago Sonriente, The Smiling Dragon, the one who would please and be pleased with a good fight. To this end, he developed a unique fighting style, different from others of the 'monk' path, focused on improving himself. While a normal monk learns how to hit others in precise spots, he focused on how to make his hits count regardless of where they land.

Now he's enrolled in the High Arcana games in order to master his skills and spread his discipline. He knows it will be a long, tough road to victory, but he will make it. El Drago Sonriente believes with his heart.
