What I've always wondered is how everyone remembers that the Tarrasque is a monster of legend, but nobody considers the Creature of Legend template, that's so many things taken care of right there. Then there's the whole restatting it's 17 feats, 10 of which are allowed to be Epic. And then there's it's 48HD, you could get some milage out of a Ninjarasque if you boost it's Intelligence somewhere down the line.
What I've always wondered is how a creature immune to any none-target based Spells and has DR 15/Epic & Regeneration 40 to counter arrows is considered to be abysmally weak against Flight. There are creatures worse off than that...

Well, it does need an area attack, but I'd think it's easier to turn one of it's natural weapons into an area attack, devouring everything in the targeted area at one shot. Earthbound aura seems a little too forced though, and people can still fly above that too.

You'd want attacks to be of decreased effectiveness as range increases, such that to do any real damage, you'd have to be very close, within charge range even. Alternatively, augment the caraspace such that it's even more potent at denying ranged attacks.

You'd also want it to very strongly resist battlefield control. Terrain should be no obstacle, it'd just consume whatever mountains are in the way.
Everything is edible. Just that there are things only edible once per lifetime.
It's a god-eat-god world.

And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

If this thing wrecks the world, what happens to gravity when it's done?

If this thing wrecks the world, what happens to gravity when it's done?

If we're talking about it swallowing civilizations and gnawing on terrain, then nothing remotely measurable happens to gravity.

I'd also like to remind everyone that being ethereal and being incorporeal are two different things.

Both covered by my custom tarrasque in the first page. Its carapace is extra effective against ranged attacks from more than 30 feet away.

It also includes area natural weapons and area special attacks and ghost touch on natural weapons on top of a bunch of other issues people already brought up in the last pages.

And it has the amazing ability to actually provide loot since it eats equipment.

Also, volcanoes. That ability is amazing. :D

Instead of a breath weapon perhaps some sort of cone reverse bullrush as it takes a deep breath and sucks things in closer to it's maw? Happens every other round or every 3rd round as it takes a breath?

Maybe start it as a 120 ft cone with a -5 to it's bullrush for every 20 ft away from it? -30 to its bull rush at 120 ft. Creatures get pulled in 5 ft closer for every 10 it beats their check by, flying creatures receive a penalty of -5 or -10 for not having anything to hold onto.

Why not make multiple Tarrasque like creatures to wonder the land as spawn of the Tarrasque?

Every 50,000 years on any given Material plane the Tarrasque, for whatever reason, awakens. Not as it does normally, but as a fully sentient creature thus allowing it to access it's true powers.

The creatures carapace strengthens to the point that any attack from above him is nullified into having no effect on the creature, whenever the creature is dealt 100 damage (non lethal or otherwise) a small piece of it falls off and reproduces another miniature tarrasque (like the standard tarrasque). It is said that those who willingly open their minds to this beast become it's seekers. Trying to free it from it's curse and allowing the creature to remain eternally free (Wakers of the Beast Prc from Dragon Magazine).

More or less this is just making the Tarrasque more intelligent, an Epic level encounter (it's laughable at the moment), and cover it's true weaknesses to the point that the only way of beating it is altering reality.
