The Black Knight (build)

Build idea that came to mind in another thread. Lead-clad is a 3rd-party Pathfinder template which doesn't afraid of anything, and adamantine is sometimes depicted as black.
Quote from: Lead-clad
+1 CR

+3 natural armor
Speed: -10ft
Abilities: Dex -6, Con +4, Int -2, Wis -2, Cha -2

Skills: +4 on Survival checks to avoid getting lost, –4 penalty on Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Perception, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, and Swim checks.

Divination Immunity (Ex): A lead-clad creature is immune to divination spells and effects cast to derive information about it. Detect magic, detect poison, detect thoughts, and detect alignment spells fail to reveal any information about the lead-clad creature or the objects it carries. Furthermore, a lead-clad creature is invisible and inaudible to scrying, arcane eyes, and clairaudience/clairvoyance. Lead-clad creatures and their equipment cannot be located by discern location, nor can locate object find objects they carry.

Light Fortification (Ex): Whenever a sneak attack or critical hit is scored against a lead-clad creature, there is a 25% chance that the extra damage is negated and damage is rolled normally.

Resistance to Electricity (Ex): A lead-clad creature has electricity resistance 5.

Vulnerability to Electricity (Ex): A metal-clad creature takes half again as much damage as normal (+50%) from electricity, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, and whether the save is a success or failure.

Virulent Poison (Ex): If the metal-clad creature possesses a natural poison attack, its DC increases by +1.
Saint Lead-clad Dragonborn (mind) Warforged X 12/Warforged juggernaut 5
or
Lesser mechanatrix Artificer 5/Renegade mastermaker 10/Warforged juggernaut 5//Lead-clad 1/X 19

I figure these combinations should be fairly scary. The first has immunities from warforged, dragonborn, saint and lead-clad (saint's immunity to electricity cancels out metal-clad's vulnerability). The second build has fewer, but electricity heals him at half the rate it would damage him (and he qualifies for Shocking Fist for infinite healing). In either case (hopefully) you'll never see him coming until it's too late. :p

It can't be combined with warforged juggernaut, but clockwork armor would be pretty imposing. Saint makes you immune to cold damage, removing the "icing problem".

So here's what I have:

The Black Knight
LG (LA buyoff) Saint Lead-clad Dragonborn (mind) Warforged Ex-barbarian (lion totem, favoured enemy: arcanists) 1/Fighter (Zhentarim Dungeoncrasher) 4/Warforged juggernaut 5/Fighter +5/Crusader 5
Feats: Adamantine Body, Dreadful Wrath, Imperious Command, Knight of Tyr's Merciful Sword, Nemesis, Nymph's Kiss, Open Lesser Chakra (brow), Shape Soulmeld (fearsome mask), Troll Blooded
Fighter Bonus Feats: Azure Toughness, Improved Bull Rush, Power Attack, Skill Focus (Intimidate)Zh
Flaws: Shaky, Vulnerable
Maneuvers: ?
Equipment: +? valorous adamantine greatsword, +5 fearsome plating, +1 eager initiative warning armor spikes, Belt of giant's strength +6, Greater collar of umbral metamorphosisToM, Gwaeron's bootsMIC, Hat of disguise, Ring of freedom of movement, Ring of invisibility, Shirt of continuous energy immunity (fire) (all items crafted as embedded warforged components wherever possible)

The collar makes you even more "black" looking, and cancels out the speed loss from lead-clad. You have regeneration, but since you're a warforged you aren't fatigued by sunlight, and being immune to acid and fire (from saint and your shirt) means nothing can overcome it. You have fear effects coming from fearsome mask (which also grants +6 insight to Intimidate), fearsome armor, demoralising and Dreadful Wrath. Plus you're good at tracking down your enemies. Ring of invisibility + immunity to divination + no tracks or scent = lol.

An item of continuous energy immunity (Spell Compendium 80) is only 66,000G.

Is the Lead Clad nondetection thing more powerful than the Vecna Blooded nondetection thing? Mixing up them both i think would lead to a utterly undetectable creature.

Why is it both resistant to and vulnerable to electricity?

Why is it both resistant to and vulnerable to electricity?
Pick one:
  • One's a general trait, one's metal-specific
