MetaMOPhosis power
« on: April 01, 2013, 09:59:01 PM »
I went back and saved those great pictures of Surreals. As part of my breaking polymorph thread, I was looking to try to balance the whole powerful lineup.

But I know where metamoRphosis and greater metamoRphosis are, but I can't find any reference to the "MetaMOPhosis power." Where is it?

It's a typo.  It's in the heads of people who can't spell and/or aren't concerned about communicating effectively.  MetaMOPhosis has no meaning.

So then where are the differences that Surreal is detailing here: http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=3479.0

It's a typo he made.  The first metamorphosis (which he dropped the "r" on) is for everything but inanimate objects.  The second one there is specifically to become an inanimate object and has the "to become an inanimate object" underneath it.  Note the metamorphosis rules and how the last two paragraphs are specifically about turning into inanimate objects and have different rules than for other stuff.

both powers are referenced side-by-side in the Master Psionics List.

both powers are referenced side-by-side in the Master Psionics List.

Said list has Metamorphosis, and Metamorphosis, Greater.  No typos.  Page 8.

that is correct, because that is how it is listed in the original sources.
