In a Mission From Hell: Created by devil lords to serve as intelligent trackers and guardians, canomorphs often journey to the Material Plane to undertake diabolical missions for their infernal masters. At 3rd level pick one of the following options. You can pick the other options by spending a feat in a 1-by-1 basis.
Sudden Charge-The Cannomorph, Haraknin can use its Humanoid Form ability and perform a Charge as a single fullround action. If it is a suprise round, Humanoid Form and a partial charge a single standard action. In addition Cannomorph, Haraknin levels now stack with Barbarian levels for determining rage uses per day and rage upgrades.
Bring them Back- The Cannomorph, Haraknin can also follow tracks at normal speed whitout penalty, or at twice his normal speed with just a -10 penalty, and adds its Con mod to survival checks. In addition he can use Plane Shift as a SLA 1/day per 3 HD, but only between the material plane and the 9 Hells. Only willing or helpless creatures may be transported by this. In addition Cannomorph, Haraknin levels now stack with Ranger levels for determining favored enemy bonus. If it has 11 HD or more, it can use this Plane Shift to go to any plane.
Infernal Pack-Among cannomorphs, Haraknins are by far the most numerous. He gains a cohort of its own kind of its own level -2, using the elite array of stats and only with [Fighter] feats and no equipment of its own. Once it takes all Cannomorph, Haraknin levels are taken, it can only take barbarian or ranger levels. If it dies, a new one shows up in 1 hour.
Well this one was on the waiting list for quite a bit, but with just 3 levels and no complicated stuff seemed like a good change of pace from titanic templates and cactuar cameos.
The original monster isn't anything to write home about. A Hell Hound that can turn into humanoid form? Oh, wait, they added it a couple barbarian levels. Meh.
Anyway the fluff was kinda cool, so I went with the whole "tracker from the 9 hells aspect". It has a mix of tracking and stealth abilities before jumping out and start burning and stabbing stuff. Had several ideas for the "capstone", so ended up going with all. And yes, being able to have an infernal cohort that then gets an infernal cohort of its own was intended on this one, so you can make your own hunting pack from hell.
If people like this one I may tackle the other two cannomorphs.
So if you want to play an antropormhic hell hound, the Cannomorph, Haraknin's for you!
