I work telemarketing at a real estate agency. Basically, I call people and try to get them to buy condos.
It's something that's never sat quite right with me, as I loathe telemarketing. But it was the only job I could get that offered a prospect of enough profit to sustain me. I could stand the idea as long as I got clients and I got paid, but I've recently switched companies as well as sales focus, and I haven't been able to get a prospective client for nearly a month now.
This comes in the wake of a psych eval that claims I am too damn smart to be doing what I do, but I can't think of an alternative. I want a job where I can make my own hours and I get paid for how much I produce, not how many office hours I've logged.
