No, it doesn't.  Abjurant Champion only boosts Abjuration spells that grant an Armor Bonus or Shield Bonus to AC.  The full list of such spells can be found at http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=12558.

Protection From Evil is a Deflection Bonus to AC and not an Armor or Shield Bonus, so it doesn't work.

well there goes the wind from my sails. I was trying out Abj Champ for the 1st time. Thought Ide benefit/net from the Fist of Raziel's magic circle2+5, Luminous armor5+5 and a shield spell 4+5, thats +26 to AC, and worthy of a capital OMG! Oh well +19 to AC still has a nice ring, but only a small case omg!

You can still use Argent Savant 2 and Abjurant Champion 5 to get +11 shield bonus out of Shield.  Not the best use of your levels,  but fun anyway.

It seems I need to add Argent Savant to my Abjurant Champion handbook...  Thank you for reminding me of that class's ability!
