It's really disappointing that WOTC sent this Cease and Desist letter, because to me it shows that the company is not confident in the quality of their product.

Damn, that's tough. It was easily the best site for quick n' dirty fact checking on 3.5.

Worst thing? We're fast approaching 5th edition. Not many years from now we'll be going to 6th edition. 3.5 books are OUT OF PRINT (AFAIK). Why even care about this?

It's 502ing right now due to heavy stress on the server; probably from all the backups.

That's exactly it, they want older editions dead and buried; especially good ones like 3.5e
