What kind of things would you like to do with the brawler?  What are your partymates playing?  What kinds of things are you expected to be able to do, if anything?

We can't help if we're not given a direction that you'd like to work towards.

But so far I will say that Bleeding Strike is a crappy feat.  Bleeds themselves tend to be more and on-crit effects also stink.

Did you mean Bleeding Attack instead?  Still not a good feat.  The bleed effect, as worded, only happens once per round at most unless there is more than one different bleed effect.  The bleeding from the unarmed strikes will not stack so you'll only be doing 1d4 extra damage per round regardless of how many attacks you have, and only against things that are vulnerable to bleeds in the first place.  If you're facing against undead then it'll be useless for example.

Well, the snakebite archtype allows sneak aattackso I think of the character a lot like a mix of monk and rogue. I can also go down vanilla brawler for the inatant feats so I can make my unarmed strikes piercing or pick up a whip and trip people. Either of the two options work for me, there are just a LOT of feats and traits so id like some ideas and brainstorming :)

If your going to be playing for a while this will be a good pickup.
You are playing this game past level 1 right?

Yes, but the problem is the starting feats
For traits right now I am looking at one that lets me reroll saves and another that gives +1 to damage with unarmed.

Please don't bump your thread after less than 24 hours.

But like Jack said, maybe if you gave us more information on the direction you think you want the brawler to go, then we could give you better advice.

You could always look at the several brawler handbooks to get an idea for the path you want to go down.

Here and Here

Once you have thought of what path or paths you want, then we'd be more than willing to give you the proper advice

Id like to either go down the steel breaker or shield master archtype tree and use martial flexibility for combat styles like crane, dragon and pummel etc
