Tomb of Horrors (One Shot) (Handling Death?)

A friend of mine is running 1E AD&D for my group. It will be a one-shot (one single marathon session). Any good suggestions on how to handle PC death?

(no ToH spoilers, my first time)

Keep replacement characters at hand. Many of the many ways to die in TOH end up with no recoverable corpse to resurrect.
