Downloading the Entire 3.5E Board, and the Handbook Board(s)

Hi all,

I'd like to download the existing boards for 3.5E and the associated handbooks. I believe they represent a body of knowledge that should not be lost if the site were to be permanently closed.
1. Is this allowed?
2. What is the best way to do this without getting throttled?

There's nothing stopping you from making a copy of the information presented here. Even attribution is taken care of by each post still having the poster's name attached.

As long as you aren't hammering the board with dozens of requests per second, you can mirror as much of it as you want with something like wget (use the -w option to wait a few seconds between requests):
