The Orc Warlord PRC, the Assemble the Horde feat and the Extra Followers feat... what besides these things multiply my follower count for my half-orc horde master pre-epic?

I can't afford to get the casting, let alone the casting feats that class would cost.

There was a feat in 3E:
"Might Makes Right" - Races of Faerun - add STR bonus to Leadership score

I'm sure you covered the basics:
- bump up the CHA score with magic items
- Improved Leadership
- ...

I'm sure there was a "Natural Leader" feat around, that gave a +2 to the leadership score...

You could also make a slight detour and bump up your cohort with the "Improved Cohort" feat and have him take leadership as well :P

Might Makes Right is a prerequeriment for Orc Warlord (Races of Faerun).
But rulership sounds rather sweet.

This is a Level 6 at character creation build with leadership as a free feat... wacky play by posts.
