Can a ray coned ocular magic missile spell be used to make a living spell?

I don't think you can make a living spell out of metamagicked stuff.

Barring metamagic, then, is there a way that anyone can think of to make a living spell out of magic missile?

I'm AFB at the moment, but I would think that there would be a PrC ability that could convert MM to an AoE spell.  If not, one of the Complete Arcane Orb spells might serve.  Personally I love that idea and get the mental image of the bit/byte little ball from Tron.

Even if you can convert it to an area spell, unless you have levels in Eldritch Master there's probably no way to transfer an altered MM into a Living Spell.
