Shifter Ranger ACF plus Weretouched Master PrC question

If a Shifter Ranger with the Share Shifting ACF takes all 5 levels from Weretouched Master shifts, does the Animal Companion gains the ability score increases from Alternate Form when it is used?

I assume yes, since the class feature states that "...Instead of using his normal shifting ability, he can shift into animal form as though using the polymorph spell on himself...", but I want to confirm this...

And then the bit you quoted from ECS seems to imply to me that it's a special kind of shifting, but shifting nonetheless, so I'd say yes as well

Assuming you're correct though, wouldn't the AC be able to turn into the same animal/hybrid the shifter turns into?




Either way, keep in mind Weretouched Master got a pretty big nerf in the errata
