Controlling Another's Actions

Are there any spells or effects in 3.5 that allow for forcing a creature to act off its normal initiative in combat?

My understanding of dominate is that you can command the creature to do what you want (within limits) but the dominated subject may only carry out these commands on its own turn. Are there any spells, effects, or abilities that allow for you control another's actions and have them completed on your own turn (i.e., not the victim's turn).

i believe there are a few appropriate spells in the miniatures handbook, iirc. incite and inhibit spells. not to mention the snake's swiftness and mass version are quite helpful for allies.

Control Body psionic power (Kineticist 4) makes someone your physical puppet. If you have someone Dominated, you can have them manifest the Anticipatory Strike psionic power (Psion/Wilder 5), which lets someone move their initiative as an immediate action.

You can always have them delay their action till your turn, and then you're both going on the same turn.

True but does the puppet act on your turn or its own turn or both your turn and its own?

You concentrate on the power to make them move physically during your turn. If they have any purely mental actions, they can take them when their own initiative comes up, but cannot move their own body unless you release the power.

solicit psicrystal or schism would free you up to take actions while still maintaining a hold using control body.
