What alignment do you have? Going Hellreaver would be nice with 22 Cha, but you'd have to get a +5 to strength to qualify for the needed Power Attack. Some DMs allow items to qualify for Feats as long as you keep the item. Otherwise you could think about Abjurant Champion + some class with many skill points (Uncanny Trickster if dual PrCing is allowed).
I'm Chaotic Good. I just looked up Hellreaver, and it does seem pretty cool. I think there is a Barbarian ACF that gives you Power Attack for free; I might have to look into that in the morning and see if the DM will let me retcon it.
Do you happen to know what the rest of the party is playing?
And is there a limit to the free LA?
The rest of the party is a Catfolk Druid, a Warforged Artificer, and a Human Wizard, who actually is taking the Monster of Legend template, just to be ridiculous. And the free LA is limited to one race/template, barring DM approval.
